Seed Dispersal: Wind, Wing Wave inquiry
Complete your Seed Dispersal Investigation data sheet from today's inquiry in class. You need to have three seeds which have been tested for dispersal method along with your conclusion of how the seeds would have arrived on Maui. Your ideas about how the seed would get to Hawai'i needs to be based on evidence from your data.
Each seed needs to be identified either by name or by detailed scientific drawing with distinguishing features noted and including a scale or unit of measurement.

Reading weather maps, Interpreting surface observation symbols. Weather measurement and conversion of units.
View sample weather forecasts and make observations of common elements.
In your science notes, make a list of any descriptive weather or geographic terms used in the 3-day forecast. Be sure to note what units of quantitative measurement (numerical quantities) and subjective or comparative measurements ("warmer", "humid", "hot", etc) are used.
