Extensions this Week
Here are some options for exploration this week if you finish an assignment ahead of time, or you just want to expand your mind in a few new directions. A reminder- KCS technology use rules restrict the use of internet resources during school/classroom time to those sites authorized by the teacher.
1. Here is an amazing site that explores ways to graphically illustrate data. You may click the left menu bar in the areas of nature, climate or science ONLY
2. Exploring forces of motion in one dimension. This IS the topic of our first science unit, you can woRk with some of the basic ideas on this simulation. (choose "run now")
3. A fun game that uses knowledge of mass, weight, balanced force and gravity. You will need headphones to try this extension at school.
