Students will work on Solution Briefing Posters with their groups (See template below)
HW: Draw/show objects from your daily life and show how you measure or understand matter, volume, density, gravity, buoyancy?

Continue to "Make Meaning" for building a better boat.
Warm Up: Density Questions & Vocabulary (criteria, constraints, iteration, matter, density, atom, molecule, buoyancy, gravity,etc.) Mass - A measure of the amount of matter, Weight - Deals with the pull of gravity on mass
Students will finish Poster & begin presentations. Students are expected to take Notes during Solution Briefing- Learn from other groups and add/revise next iteration of boat design.
HW: Finish Vocabulary from warm up.
Warm -Up: Watch video…ARCHEMIDIES PRINCIPLE
Objective: Apply Meaning - Build a second boat that holds 6 keys for a minimum of 20 seconds. Use new criteria, constraints. and solution briefing notes.
Lab Set Up: Students will get a new set of materials and have 10 minutes to plan and test new boat design. Record results using boat records sheet below. Give credit where credits due.
HW: Be prepared to share results on Monday.
