Monday - Review for the quiz on Tuesday
Tuesday - Quiz and short activity.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday - The students will start their small group projects dealing with velocity and acceleration. Students will make ramps and record the different distances, speed, and acceleration of small skateboards with different masses and record the results. The students will record the results on two separate graphs. The project will take all week.
The students will be working on a small group experiment dealing with motion, mass, and acceleration. The students will be performing experiments, taking data, recording results, and graphing the results. The students will record their results in their interactive notebook.
Tuesday Sept 8th - Students have a quiz on motion. After the quiz, they will begin a lesson on acceleration. They are encouraged to take notes.
Thursday Sept. 10th - The students will finish the notes on acceleration and begin working on solving problems.
Friday Sept. 11th - Quiz on acceleration and small activity planned.
