3. Read the introduction in the "Is Yeast Alive?" procedures and then answer the research question and predictions.
4. Go thoroughly over the procedures as a class, then do the lab in groups.
5. Any left over time is for homework.
Conclusion (5 points: assessment)
Based on your findings, do you think the little brown grains of yeast are alive? Explain why or why not. Please use your data you collected, use 2 other research sources, and what characteristics of life yeast has for your evidence. Make sure you cite your sources. Must be at least a paragraph long. Can be turned in or emailed to Ms. Molina.
ABSENT: Do the same as above but use sources from internet or books since you didn't do the lab in class.
