Monday: Virtual Day - Good Morning 6B Science Students!

For your virtual day assignment on 4/16, you are going to watch a youtube video on Space Exploration
This will be a 1hr. assignment:

1. Click on the linked video that is 53min long

3. Your grade will be based on:
- Title your note page "Space Exploration", and place your name on the top right.
- Take notes on taken on key points in the entire video!
- Take notes as the video plays, you will not need to stop the video to take notes just try to write as it plays. (of course you can stop at your choosing:)
-Notes should include 3 main discoveries
Also you can watch the video sped up to get the point of the video. You can click on the gear looking icon on the bottom right then click on "speed" and choose how fast you want the video to play. If you watch it on double time the video will only be 22 min. :). In this case you still may be able to take general notes as it plays:) Note: if you are watching on a phone you will not be able to speed up the play.

You will be expected to turn in your notes on Thursday upon entry to class.

Hope you have a great day!

This year we will be learning Science in a new and exciting way using a new program based on Project Based Inquiry Science published by Its About Time (iat.com) where we will investigate many Big Questions that scientists often ask and try to answer by designing and conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, building models, collaborating with your classmates, developing and sharing scientific explanations.

Syllabus: 2 units of science each semester covering many topics on Physical and Earth Sciences. We start this year with a unit called “Digging in” where we will learn how Scientists work together to solve Big Questions; We will follow this with other units such as Energy, Astronomy and Ever Changing Earth to complete this year.
