Home work:
Reading 20 minutes every night. Use the reading log from your advisory and have it signed by an adult. Turn into me on Thursday and I will give you the form to give your Advisory teacher. 

Due Monday: Story you want to use for our collaborative book typed out and edited by at least two people.

Due Thursday:
Homework Summary:  Who was King Tut? Who was Khufu? Who was Cleopatra?
(conduct additional research if necessary)
150 word summary

Current Event Due Friday: Who? What? Where? and why you chose the article.


This week activities:
Reading The Giver: Everyone should finish the book by Friday. We have several activities we will do in class. If you do not finish these you will finish them as homework. 

Illustration Techniques: to prepare for your illustrations for your stories.

Egypt: We will be creating postcards in PhotoShop. You will look for a picture of a place in Egypt you went to on your virtual trip. Then we will take a picture of you and put you in Egypt. 

We will continue our Egypt group projects.
1. Who is in your group?
2. Which person are you focusing on?
3. Which type of presentation: Skit, Newscast, Sing, or Illustrated Poem you will be doing.
4. How will you meet each of the guideline criteria for your group presentation.  
We will perform these next week.
