Today in class, Kai wrote phrases from Hammurabi's Code in cuneiform on clay tablets. Aina did not have Social Studies today due to the extended field science in Waihee.

Today in class, Mrs. Cassie Kepler will make an introductory presentation on National History Day. All sixth graders will be participating in National History Day this year.

No Social Studies Class today.
Kai will be working in the garden putting new plants in the shade garden.
Aina does not have Community Service. They will be taking a field trip to the Kihei Library to explore resources available for History Day and upcoming projects.
Tuesday, September 3
Today in class we will finish reading our Hunter Gatherer Stories. Students will then complete applications for library cards. Then we will begin our study of Ancient Mesopotamia by looking at the geography of the region.
Homework: Use the following link to read of the story of Gilgamesh. Finish writing a summary of the story in your Social Studies Notebook.
