Today in class we will learn about the advent of agriculture and the old Stone Age versus the New Stone Age. Students will complete a Graphic Organizer that is attached to the bottom of this post.
Homework: Final draft of your "Day in the Life Story is due on Thursday, August 29. Please note: your final draft must be a story describing a day in an early humans life from sun rise to sun set.

Thursday, August 22
Rough Draft of Your Hunter Gatherer Story is Due on August 26 shared with Mrs. Robinson as a google document. Please see the rubric at the top of this post for details ("a_day_in _the_life.") Read through the rubric. You are just writing a story of what one day of pre-historic life would be like. You do not have to spend more than 45 minutes on your rough draft. You are invited to spend more time if you would like to and to add illustrations.

After a presentation in class, you will begin researching your assigned early hominid group.
